Starfield

Same Bethesda style, shiny new coat of paint.

The game has good character customization, as we’ve come to expect from Bethesda, giving you enough options to spend literal hours tweaking how you look should you choose to do so.

The writing is decent enough, though the NPCs come across like robots rather than people quite often. Still, the world feels believable otherwise.

Graphically, the game looks great! I don’t see how anyone could compare this to Fallout 4, as it’s leagues above in quality. The game is dripping with detail and beauty everywhere you look.

Gameplay is similar to Fallout 4 in some ways, but it’s also trying to be it’s own thing too. The skill system is MUCH better than in previous Bethesda outings, not quite allowing players to cheese skills to max level like in Skyrim, at least that I’ve found thus far. Instead you have to complete “challenges” to upgrade the skill to the next tier.

The music in this game is where it truly shines. I could spend HOURS listening to some of the tracks, getting lost in thought. Truly an immersive soundtrack, and one I cannot find complaint with.

Overall, I’d rate Starfield as a good game very much worth playing.
