Palworld. You hate or you love it. Combining the best aspects of Ark: Survival Evolved/Ascended, Breath of the Wild, and Pokémon style creatures, this survival game, despite being an early access release, has taken the world by storm.
Sure the gameplay may be basic currently, but the upside is no politics of any kind have been injected into the game, and outside a blatantly mockery of PETA, the game doesn’t really address any social issues either. It’s just pure, unadulterated fun.
You work your way up through a surprisingly sizable tech tree, utilizing your caught Pals to help you around your base so you can catch bigger and stronger Pals. A simple but effective loop.
I won’t be addressing any of the ridiculous drama or “controversies” except to remind everyone that Nintendo has already stated they will NOT be suing. So get out there, catch some Lamballs and Woolipops, and have a fun time!
